Mrs. John Clark, 77, Native of Marin, Dies

Mrs. Florence Edith Clark, who has lived all of her 77 years in Marin County, died early today following a lingering illness at her home, 11 Jessup street, San Rafael, where she has lived for the past 51 years.

Mrs. Clark was born in Tiburon and spent her earlier years in Sausalito where she attended schools. In 1903 she was married and moved to the home on Jessup street. She was the widow of the late John Clark.

Surviving Mrs. Clark are three daughters, Mrs. Alice Ruffino, 114 Mission avenue, Mrs. Florence Day, 14 Valencia avenue, Mrs. Violet Meesters, 239 D street, all of San Rafael, two sons, David Clark of San Francisco and Lester Clark of Seattle, Wash., a sister, Mrs. Charlotte Jewett of Sausalito, a brother Harry Campbell of San Francisco, and three grandchildren, Mrs. Ruth McLachlin, Richard Ruffino and David Athey. She was a sister of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Sandstrom and William Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from Keaton's Mortuary, San Rafael. Burial will be in Mt. Tamalpais cemetery.
