Louis Bormolini, 66, Novato Builder, Dies
Louis Bormolini, 66, of Novato, owner of the Bormolini Construction Company, died at his home early this morning after a long illness.
A native of Switzerland, Bormolini came to Marin 35 years ago and was engaged in the construction business with his son, Henry. Together, they erected countless buildings and bridges in Marin and Sonoma counties.
Bormolini, who lived at 1015 Sixth street, with his wife, Antoinette, was an active member of Novato Grove of Druids, U.A.O.D., and the Association of General Contractors of America.
He is also survived by two daughters, Mrs. Daniel Wise and Annie Bormolini; a brother and sister, Joseph and Annie Bormolini; a granddaughter, Naudia Wise.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from Keatonís mortuary, San Rafael. A requiem mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Loretto church, Novato. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery, San Rafael. The rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
