A funeral was scheduled today for Ethel Casajus at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Novato.
A resident of Novato for the last six years, Mrs. Casajus died in a local hospital on Friday. She was 83.
A native of Germany, she moved to the United States and settled in New York with her family when she was 10. She later moved to Cleveland, Ohio where she married Albert Schober who moved to Berkeley with her.
She later divorced Schober and married Frank Casajus from whom she was also later divorced.
Mrs. Casajus was a seamstress who worked for I. Magnin in San Francisco and Palo Alto.
She is survived by a son, William C. Schober of Novato; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was buried in Bahia Valley Memorial Park in Novato.
