Jane Cauzza Dies At Bakersfield
Mrs. George Fairbanks of Tomales has received a letter from Bakersfield, giving the account of the death there on Oct. 23, of Mrs. Jane Olcese Cauzza, 73, who formerly lived at Tomales.
While living in Tomales, the late J. B. Cauzza, husband of the deceased, was a member of the firm Holland and Cauzza, Tomales merchants.
Mrs. Cauzza was born in Hornitos, Calif., in 1865. She has been living in Bakersfield since 1910. Two daughters, Mrs. E. H. Clare, Bakersfield, and Mrs. Jos. Hoeffel, Chicago, survive. She was a prominent worker in women’s clubs, both at Tomales and Bakersfield.
