Long Beach Man Dies In Hospital
Joseph Zepp, 78, retired textile loom specialist of Long Beach who was visiting his son in Tamalpais Woods, died in a local hospital last night from a stroke after an emergency operation.
He was visiting his son, A. L. Zepp of Tamalpais Woods, a bay pilot who works in the Stockton River area. He was stricken two days after Christmas, and underwent emergency operation. He is also survived by his wife, Elizabeth, and another son, Joseph M. Zepp of Pennsylvania.
A native of Westminister, Md., Zepp and his wife moved to Long Beach in 1945. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church there. He had retired about 12 years ago.
Funeral services are pending at Russell and Gooch Mortuary, Mill Valley.
