BETTY A. BRIGGS
Mill Valley resident
Betty A. Briggs of Mill Valley died Tuesday, March 30, 1993, in Garden Sullivan Hospital in San Francisco. She was 77.
Mrs. Briggs was raised in San Francisco and Spokane, Wash. She graduated from Holy Names Academy in Spokane and attended the University of California at Berkeley.
She retired from the Del Monte Corporation in San Francisco, where she worked for many years as an executive assistant.
She was a five-year resident of the Redwoods Retirement Center in Mill Valley.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Finley of Sonoma and Donna Lyons of Fairfax; a son, Kenneth Briggs of Seattle; a brother, Elmer Anderson of Greenbrae; a sister, Jackie Minta of Port Townsend, Wash.; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
At her request no services were held.
Because she loved animals, her family requests memorial contributions to the Marin Humane Society.
