Mamie F. Camiccia, longtime resident of San Anselmo, died yesterday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 76.
Mrs. Camiccia, wife of Angelo Camiccia who died in 1965, was a native of San Francisco who lived in Marin 57 years. She was a homemaker most of her life.
She was a member of the Fairfax Senior Citizens organization, the Catholic Daughters of America and the Italian Catholic Federation.
Mrs. Camiccia is survived by four sons, Walter Camiccia and Stanley Camiccia, both of Fairfax, Jack Camiccia of Novato and Robert Camiccia of San Rafael; two sisters, Lucy Ghio and Rose Gilardi, both of San Francisco, 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited in her memory at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Anselm’s Catholic Church, San Anselmo. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael
