PHILIP H. LICHTENSTEIN
Philip Harry Lichtenstein died Jan. 3 at Northgate Convalescent Hospital in San Rafael following a short illness. He was 91.
The San Francisco native was a retired plumber who worked for 48 years with Bethlehem Steel Corp. He lived in Marin County for 21 years.
Mr. Lichtenstein belonged to the Plumbers Union Local #38, San Francisco. He enjoyed baseball and golf.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Lichtenstein of San Rafael; a son, Philip Lichtenstein of Walnut Creek; two sisters, Sally Arter and Helen Tomasello, both of Santa Rosa; and two grandchildren. His first wife, Florence McCabe Lichtenstein, died in 1967.
He will be buried at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery. At his request, no services were held. Arrangements were handled by Mount Tamalpais Mortuary.
