JAMES P. WILBEE
World War II veteran
James Powell Wilbee, a 26-year resident of Greenbrae, died Sunday, June 16, 1991, at Marin General Hospital after a long illness. He was 72.
He was born in Buffalo, N.Y. He graduated from Dartmouth College.
He served in the Army Air Corps in Europe during World War II. In 1948, he began his own business as a manufacturerís representative.
He was a member of the San Francisco Yacht Club.
He was a pilot and active member of the Petaluma Area Pilots Association.
Mr. Powell is survived by his wife, Mary Wilbee of Greenbrae; two sons, James Wilbee of Sausalito and Robert Wilbee of San Rafael; one brother, Robert Willbee (sic) of Las Cruces, New Mexico; one grandson.
Services have been set for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paulís Episcopal Church, Court Street in San Rafael.
