John Brambani, 66, a retired employee of the Marin County road department, died yesterday at his home at 2 Sunview Avenue, San Anselmo, after a long illness.
A native of Italy, he came to this country when a small boy with his parents. He lived in the Occidental area until moving to San Anselmo 27 years ago. He was employed with the County road department for 25 years until he retired in August a year ago.
A Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Philip's Church in Occidental. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tomorrow at St. Philip's Church. Burial will be in the Druids cemetery in Occidental. Lafferty and Smith Colonial Chapel in Santa Rosa was in charge of the arrangements.
A Death Notice in the same paper mentions his late sister, Mary Beedle. John Brambani was the uncle of William H. and Robert C. Beedle, both of San Anselmo, and Cynthia, Marcy, Joanne, Bradford, Heidi and William Beedle Jr., all of California.
