Mrs. Ralph Hoy’s Mother Dies After Home Accident
Mrs. Cora A. Byers, 76, mother of Mrs. Ralph Hoy of San Rafael, died at a local hospital yesterday after a hip fracture suffered in a fall at her home last Thursday.
A native of California, Mrs. Byers had lived in San Rafael and San Anselmo for the past 34 years. She was living at 1818 Fifth avenue in San Rafael at the time of the accident.
She was the mother of Thelma Hoy, who, with her husband Ralph, operates radio-TV shops in Marin. Mrs. Byers also leaves two sons, Chauncey Campbell of Black Point and Elbert Campbell of San Rafael, and four grandchildren. Her husband, the late Edward Byers, died about 20 years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Keaton’s mortuary, San Rafael. Interment will be at Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
Death notice in the same paper names three grandchildren: Nadine Hoy, and E. Dean and Robert Campbell.
