Domenico Arbini Dies In El Cerrito
Domenico Arbini of El Cerrito, grandfather of Mrs. Margaret Farley of San Rafael, died Saturday in El Cerrito at the age of 79.
A retired railroad employee, he had worked 25 years for the Northwestern Pacific. He was born in the province of Varese, Italy.
Arbini was a member of the Order of Railway Employees of San Francisco and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of El Cerrito.
Besides Mrs. Farley, he is survived by his wife, Mary; a son and a daughter, Frank Arbini and Mrs. Angelina Bertolli of El Cerrito;another grandchild and a niece.
A High Requiem Mass will be offered tomorrow at 9 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of El Cerrito. The funeral cortege will form at 8:30 a.m. at the Ryan Funeral Home, Richmond. Entombment will be in St. Joseph's Mausoleum, San Pablo.
Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7:45 p.m. today at the Ryan Funeral Home.
A Death Notice in the same paper mentions his residence, 1620 Kearney street in El Cerrito, and his grandson, Robert Arbini of Alameda, California. He was uncle of Mrs. Santina Regalia of Concord, CA.
CA Death Index: he was born June 26, 1879; his mother's maiden name was Varallo; he died Oct. 11, 1958 in Contra Costa County.
