Hundreds of friends and relatives gathered Monday in silent farewell at the bier of Olimpio Martinelli, one of Point Reyes most loved and respected citizens, who died on Friday morning, November 8. Besides his devoted wife, Flora Martinelli, he leaves one son Elmer Martinelli, three grandchildren Leroy, Stanley and Patricia Martinelli, one brother Sam Martinelli of Olema and three sisters Mrs. Nina Cheda of Point Reyes, Mrs. Adalena Martella of Inverness and Mrs. Isalina Campigli of Olema. A member of Petaluma Lodge No. 180 F. and A.M., Petaluma Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, Mount Olivet Commandery Knights Templar and Olema Grove No. 39 U.A.O.D. Services were held from the home under the auspices of Petaluma Lodge No. 180 F. and A.M. Interment at Olema Cemetery.
