Pompeo Martinelli, Long a Resident of Lagunitas, Is Called
Pompeo Martinelli, who for more than twenty years was employed as a gardener for the Lagunitas Development Company, and who made his home in Lagunitas for a greater length of time, passed away last Saturday at this home there, after a long illness. He was 79 years of age and a native of Switzerland.
Funeral service was held Monday from the Keaton Mortuary, San Rafael, followed by interment at the Olema Cemetery. Services both here and at the grave were attended by a large number of friends and relatives of the deceased, from all over Marin and Sonoma counties.
He was a member of Tomales Grove No. 83, U.A.O. Druids.
Mr. Martinelli leaves his wife, Mrs. Emma Martinelli, and two sons and five daughters. He is a brother of Attilio Martinelli, former Marin County supervisor, of Inverness.
The sons are Alvin and Earl Martinelli, of Lagunitas and San Anselmo, respectively; daughters, Mrs. Ulna Ramponi, Forest Knolls; Mrs. Eunice Cantwell (iffy; hard to read), San Francisco; Mrs. Muriel __bongiari, Petaluma;Mrs. C___ Bourne and Mrs. Eleanor Bourne (?), San Anselmo and Bolinas, respectively.
