Emma Martinelli Dies At 75 After Long Illness
Mrs. Emma Martinelli, who was born 75 years ago at Marshall near Tomales Bay, died last night at a local hospital after a long illness.
For the past 52 years Mrs. Martinelli had lived in Lagunitas. She made her home on Charles Lane and was the wife of the late Pompeo Martinelli, and the daughter of the late Antonio and Theresa Fiori.
Mrs. Martinelli is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Ulna Ramponi of San Anselmo, Mrs. Eunice Cantwell of Lagunitas, Mrs. Muriel Bigongiari of Petaluma, Mrs. Geneva Bourne of Bolinas and Mrs. Eleanor Bourne of Santa Rosa; two sons, Alvin and Earl Martinelli of Lagunitas, and four sisters, Mrs. Maude Gardner of Woodacre, Mrs. Gilda Muscio of Pt. Reyes Station, Mrs. Alice Gamboni of Olema and Mrs. Hattie Safstrom of San Anselmo.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and was the sister of the late Arthur Fiori.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael. Inurnment will be at Cypress Lawn Crematory in Colma.
