Santino Martinelli Dies In Petaluma
Santino Martinelli, owner of the general merchandise store in Olema for many years, died yesterday in a Petaluma rest home where he had been for three years. He was 90.
Martinelli came to Marin about 75 years ago from Switzerland. He worked on diary ranches around Olema and later purchased one of his own.
He moved to Watsonville, where he worked for the Marinelli Cider and Apple Products Co. Upon his return to Marin, he bought the general store and operated it until his (illegible).
He was a life member of Olema Lodge 39 of Druids.
A bachelor, he is survived by eight nieces and four nephews. They are Mrs. Lelia Sartoris, Mrs. Olga Garzoli, Mrs. Erminia Genazzi, Mrs. Irene Cheda, Elmer Martinelli, Armando and Arnold Campigli of Pt. Reyes; Mrs. Alba Zaro and Mrs. Nancy Robinette of Mill Valley;Mrs. Lillie Vincent of Inverness; Mrs. Iride Sullivanand Walter Campigli of Oakland.
Funeral services will be held at the Sorensen Funeral Home in Petaluma tomorrow at 11 a.m. burial will be in Olema Cemetery.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the brother of the late O. E. Martinelli, Adeline Martella, Nina Cheda and Isa Campigli.
