Ethel L. Chapman

The funeral for Ethel L. Chapman of Corte Madera will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.

Mrs. Chapman, a Marin County resident since 1955, died Friday at the age of 85.

She was the widow of the late George E. Chapman. They had lived in Petaluma before moving to Corte Madera. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Larkspur.

She was a native of Leavenworth, Kan.

Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael. Friends may call at the mortuary, Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

A death notice appeared in the same paper and adds information: she was the aunt of Jean Carlson of Hartington, Neb., Velleda Gnip of Fort Worth, Texas, and Dorbin Gardner of Indianapolis, Ind.; brother (sic) of the late Perry J. Pasewark and May Gardner.
