Mrs. Ruby Ezekiel Dies In Mill Valley
Mrs. Ruby Ezekiel, member of a pioneer Mill Valley family and widely known in Southern Marin, died unexpectedly at her home at 30 Corte Madera avenue early today. She was 67.
Born in San Francisco, Mrs. Ezekiel came to Mill Valley in 1899, in the days when it was popular to camp out in many of today's residential areas.
In addition to her husband, Edwin, she is survived by her son, Francis Stuart, at the family home; another son, James, of Fairfax; five daughters, Mrs. Ealeanor Pollachi and Mrs. Nancy Oliver of Mill Valley, Mrs. Dorothy Rosemon and Mrs. Edna Harold of San Francisco and Mrs. June Krause of Las Vegas, Nev., and by 14 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Russell and Gooch in Mill Valley.
A Death Notice in the same paper lists her sons as Stuart Ezekiel and Edwin J. Ezekiel Jr., and mentions that she was the sister of Archie, Clair and Glynn McDonald, Mrs. Otto Bortfeld and Mrs. Walter Braun. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael. Funeral services at Russell and Gooch Memorial Chapel Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 2 p.m.
