William A. Ford
San Rafael resident
William A. Ford of San Rafael, an amateur astronomer who observed the night sky through a telescope, died April 28 from a diabetes-related condition. He was 38.
Vigil services will be recited at 4:30 p.m. today at Keaton's Mortuary in San Rafael.
Funeral services will be at 12:15 p.m. tomorrow at Keaton's thence to Blessed Sacrament Church for the 1 o'clock celebration of his funeral Mass.
Mr. Ford was born in San Francisco. He graduated from San Rafael High School and attended College of Marin. He had been a beauty supplies salesman.
Photography and ancient Roman and Greek history were among his interests.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Ford of San Rafael, and his sister, Diane Russo of Petaluma.
Burial will be private.
A Death Notice in the April 29, 1995 paper adds information: Mr. Ford was the son of the late William Ford, brother of the late John Ford, uncle of Christina Russo and John Ford Jr., and brother-in-law of Anthony Russo.
