Funeral services for Vera L. Gaston of Mill Valley, who died Saturday in a local hospital after a short illness, will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Russell and Gooch Mortuary, Mill Valley.
Mrs. Gaston, 42, was a waitress at Esposti's in Mill Valley for about five years and had lived 18 yeaars in Mill Valley, residing at 124 Ferndale Avenue.
She was the wife of T. Sgt. Gene E. Gaston, who is stationed with the Air Force in Japan.
A native of Maine, Mrs. Gaston had been a waitress eight years and was a member of the Marin County Bartenders and Culinary Workers Union. She had once been quite active with the Mill Valley Masquers and had also worked with the Homestead Valley Players.
Surviving her are her husband; a daughter, Shelia Robinson; a sister, Mrs. Eugene Perani of Mill Valley; two brothers, Merle Robinson of Maine and Norman Robinson of Florida; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Robinson of Maine.
Interment will be in Auburn, Me.
