CARL A. HEPP

Funeral for Carl A. Hepp of Mill Valley, a former hardware store owner, will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Russell and Gooch Mortuary in Mill Valley.

Hepp, 86, of 135 Cascade Drive, died at his home Saturday, according to Marin County Coronerís office.

At one time he was co-owner of Jackson and Hepp hardware store in Mill Valley. He also worked for 50 years as a window dresser for Woolworth Co. and other San Francisco stores before retiring.

Hepp, a native of California, was a lay minister for the Spiritualist church in the East Bay. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of Mill Valley Post 284 of American Legion.

Hepp leaves no immediate relatives. Burial will be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Santa Cruz.
