William R. McClintic
William R. McClintic of Tiburon, died Monday, Feb. 11, 1991, at Marin General Hospital following a long illness. He was 66.
He was a native of Santa Cruz. Mr. McClintic lived in Marin for 34 years.
Mr. McClintic was employed by various shipping lines for a number of years, including Sea Land in Alameda and Delta.
He served in the Navy during World War II. Following four years in the Navy, he became a quarter master with the merchant marine. He was with the merchant marine for many years.
Mr. McClintic spent his spare time at home relaxing.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Ruby McClintic of Tiburon; a son, Bradley McClintic and a daughter, Robin McClintic, both of San Diego; a brother, Donald McClintic of San Bruno; and two grandchildren.
No services will be held. His ashes will be scattered at sea.
Memorial contributions are preferred to a favorite charity.
Arrangements are by Daphne Funerals of Marin, Corte Madera.
