William P. Muller
William P. Muller has served as president of the Hospice of Marin Board of directors, grand jury foreman, and on the panel of the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley.
Muller died of a heart attack Aug. 5 in Kentucky.
The Germantown, Pa., native was 79.
He attended the University of Pennsylvania and moved to California in 1946.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He was president of San Francisco-based Ingram Pharmaceutical when he retired.
He was a member of the Catholic Social Services and on the board of Marin Montessori School ad the Marin Symphony Orchestra.
He also belonged to the Lagunitas Club and also worked with numerous charitable organizations.
Muller is survived by his wife, Katherine Chubb Muller of Ross; his daughter, Matilda Thompson; three grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ann Fries; a step-daughter, Kerry Zack; two step-sons, Andrew and Jeffrey Sheehan; and three step-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at St. Anselm’s Church in San Anselmo. Private burial will be at Olema Cemetery.
