James Pedrotti Answers Final Call
James Pedrotti, brother to M. J. Pedrotti, Supervisor of Marin county, died suddenly at his home in Napa Saturday, November 15th, where he was a prominent and widely known resident, owning one of the largest ranches in Napa.
Up to the time of his illness he was in excellent health. About two weeks ago he was suddenly stricken with paralysis, from which he never recovered. Shortly before his illness he was in Petaluma visiting his son James and family and many friends.
For many years he conducted one of the largest dairies, on the Wright ranch, Sonoma county, and it was considered one of the finest in California.
He was a native of Switzerland, born in December, 1850, coming to this country when quite a young man. He is survived by his widow and nine children, all being present at the funeral on Tuesday, held in the residence parlors of Stephen Eden, from where the remains were sent to Bolinas, and interred in the family plot, where two children of the deceased are buried.
