Henry Sager, 78, Succumbs

Funeral will be held Saturday for Henry Sager, 78, of 12 Myrtle Lane, San Anselmo, who died at a local hospital yesterday after an illness which lasted several months.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the First Congregational church, San Rafael, with the Rev. Paul Peterson, pastor, officiating. Friends may call at the Jenness Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo, until 12 noon Saturday.

Sager's wife died last month. He was a native of Germany and had lived in Marin for 12 years. He was a retired sugar refinery official.

He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Vivienne Land, San Anselmo, with whom he made his home, and Mrs. Elinor Espinal, San Francisco; a sister, Mrs. Lisa Schwarz, Germany; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

SAGER - In San Anselmo, Oct. 21, 1951 (sic), Henry Sager, beloved husband of the late May Catherine Sager ... loving grandfather of Ivan Parker, Douglas and Dean Land, Valerie Henderson, Joan Pamantino (?), Henry and Michael Espinal; great-grandfather of Dianne Parker, and Nancy Pamantino....
