Thomas J. Barfield Jr. Rites Set

Graveside services for Thomas J. Barfield Jr., 24, of Wharf Road, Bolinas, killed in a motorcycle accident Thursday night, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Bolinas Cemetery, Bolinas.

Barfield, son of Thomas J. Barfield Sr., attorney and president of the Marin Council of Boy Scouts, was thrown from his motorcycle on Shoreline Highway, two miles north of Stinson Beach.

In addition to his father, stepmother Maria and brother William Richard, he is survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis G. Pepper of Bolinas and Mr. and Mrs. Charles V. Barfield of San Francisco

He was an Eagle Scout of Troop 23, Bolinas, and a member of St. Aidan's Episcopal Church, Bolinas. He had been scheduled to start work yesterday as manager of the Sugar Shack in Stinson Beach.

Friends may call at the Memorial Chapels of Russell and Gooch, Mill Valley, until noon Monday.
