Heart attack fells Max Cerini, 65

Max F. Cerini, a founding board member of Bank of Petaluma, died Monday, Nov. 18, resulting from heart attack. He was 65. A Novato resident and partner in Shamrock Materials, Inc., for 35 years, Mr. Cerini was a member of the hunting party in which Point Reyes Station resident Jim Maestri accidentally shot himself in the face on Thursday, Oct. 31.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia A. Cerini of Novato; son and daughter-in-law, Todd F. and Lisa Cerini; and his mother, Angelina "Ann" B. Campbell; brother and sister-in-law, David and Muna Cerini; grandchildren, Caitlyn Cerini and Max Thomas Cerini; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ray and Shirley Ronsheimer, all of Petaluma.
He was predeceased by his father, Americo "Max" Cerini.
Entombment was at Valley Memorial Park in Novato.
The family has suggested that any memorial contributions be made to Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church, Novato, or to a favorite charity.
