Myrtle M. Holland, a 93-year-old San Rafael resident who had lived in Marin 11 years, died Sunday at a local hospital.
Mrs. Holland was born in Iowa and moved with her family to Kansas City, Mo., when she was 2 years old. She lived in Kansas City until 1917 when she and her family moved to San Francisco.
After her husband, Arthur Holland, died 11 years ago, she moved to San Rafael to live with her daughter, Elizabeth Schwarz.
Mrs. Holland was a past president of the Seven Pines circle of the Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic.
In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Holland is survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be private.
The family prefers memorial donations to a favorite charity.

Interment, Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery, Colma, Calif.
