Marion O. Berggren

A funeral for Marion O. Berggren, a former Tomales and Petaluma resident, will be held Friday at 10 a.m.at the Parent Funeral Chapel, Petaluma.

Mrs. Berggren died last Friday at a convalescent hospital in Nampa, Idaho. She was 92.

A native of West Marin, she attended schools in Tomales. She moved to Petaluma as a young woman after her marriage to Henry Jason. She later moved to San Francisco, living there for 50 years.

Mrs. Berggren worked many years for the poultry Producers, first in the poultry division at the Petaluma plant and later in San Francisco.

Mrs. Berggren returned to Sonoma County five years, living in Sebastopol. She had moved to Idaho nine months ago.

She is survived by two sons, Ralph Jason of Sebastopol and Henry J. Jason of Oregon; two sisters, Rose Katen of Petaluma and Julia Streeter of Santa Rosa; two brothers, John Lewis of Petaluma and Candio Lewis of Napa; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery near Petaluma.
