Albert Slepnol, 83, of San Rafael died Friday at Ross Hospital.
Arrangements are being handled by Chapel of the Hills mortuary in San Anselmo.
CADI: Albert John Slepnol was born in California July 7, 1901.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated today at St. Rita's Church in Fairfax for Albert J. Slepnol, a long-time San Anselmo resident.
Slepnol, 83, died Friday at Ross hospital after a short illness.
He was a painting contractor in Marin County and San Francisco.
A native of San Francisco, Slepnol moved to San Anselmo in 1945.
Survivors are his wife Freda of San Anselmo; two daughters, Joan Trupp of San Rafael and Marilyn Maldi of Boulder Creek; and two grandsons.
He is also survived by two brothers, William Slepnikoff of San Francisco and Michael Slepnikoff of St. Helena, and two sisters, Jean Jarkieh of San Francisco and Nadje Susoeff of St. Helena.
Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
The family prefers memorial gifts to St. Anthony's Dining Room in San Francisco.
Death notice in this paper: he was the grandfather of Adam and Miles Trupp and father-in-law of Frederick Trupp and James Maldi.
