Mrs. Helen Berrum Of Mill Valley Dies
Mrs. Helen Cordelia Berrum, a resident of Mill Valley for 18 years, died in a local hospital yesterday at the age of 74.
She had been in failing health for several years, and was hospitalized about three weeks ago when she became seriously ill.
She made her residence at 410 Molino avenue for the past year with her husband, Arthur H. Berrum, and daughter, Mrs. Marion Lewis. She was a native and longtime resident of Salt lake City.
She is survived by her husband, a retired Pacific Telephone and TelegraphCo. transmission man; her three daughters, Mrs. Lewis, Mrs. Elizabeth Goff, and Mrs. Barbara Whitman, all of Mill Valley; two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Grace Forbes of Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Margaret DeCarie of Los Angeles, and Blaine Smith of Medford, Ore.; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held at Mill Valley Episcopal Church of Our Saviour at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow with burial in Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael. Friends may call at Russell and Gooch Memorial Chapel, Mill Valley, until 10 o'clock tonight.
