MYRTLE SPARKE

Funeral will be held tomorrow for Myrtle M. Sparke of Stinson Beach who died Saturday at a local convalescent hospital after a short illness. She was 67.

A native of San Francisco, she moved to Marin in 1932. From 1936 to 1965, she lived on the San Quentin peninsula with her husband, Louis C. Sparke, who was superintendent of a clothing factory at San Quentin Prison.

Following her husbandís retirement, the couple moved to their home in Stinson Beach. She was a member of the Allied Arts Group of Stinson Beach. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed walking on the beach with her dog.

She is survived by her husband and a sister, Francis Gibbons of San Francisco.

Services will be at 11 a.m. at Williams and Heffernan Mortuary in San Rafael, followed by private inurnment.
