Edwin A. Hiniker

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Grant Miller Mortuary, 23rd and East 14th St., Oakland, for Edwin Arnaud Hiniker who died Thursday at the Veterans' Hospital in
Oakland.

Hiniker, who would have been 53 years old in May, came to Larkspur 52 years ago and has made his home in Alameda for the past 28 years. He was the oldest son of Mrs. Marie C. Fleming of Larkspur and the husband of the late Ethel Hiniker.

In addition to his mother he is survived by one son, William Hiniker of Alameda; one sister, Mrs. Ernest Collin of Larkspur; and two brothers, G. E. Hiniker of Alameda and F. R. Hiniker of Los Angeles.

Hiniker was an employee of the telephone company for 27 years and past commander-in-chief of Hollywood Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars in Alameda. He was the first Larkspur man to enlist in World War I and served for three years as a wireless operator on the U.S.S. Kentucky.
