PINKEY - In San Rafael, March 12, 1948, Helen Jane Pinkey, beloved wife of William Pinkey, master sergeant, U.S.A. retired, loving mother of Charles S. Redling of Seattle, William N. Redling, Lt. Col. U.S.A., William Pinkey Jr., Lt. (jg) U.S.N. and Vernon W. Pinkey, 1st Lt. U.S.A., loving daughter of Christine W. Spencer of Coronado and the late William J. Spencer, Capt., U.S.A., retired, loving sister of Wesley, William, Henry, George and Frank Spencer; a native of Michigan, aged 61 years.
A member of the woman's auxiliary of St. Paul's Episcopal church, Arbutus Temple, Pythian Sisters of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, Harbor Chapter No. 174 O.E.S. of San Pedro, Tamalpais Auxiliary No. 72, V.F.W. of San Rafael, and several other organizations.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 15, 1948 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, San Rafael.
Contributions in memory of Mrs. Pinkey may be made to St. Dorothy's Rest, care of St. Paul's Church, San Rafael.
Interment, Golden Gate National Cemetery. (Harry M. Williams Mortuary service.)
