May L. Fletcher
A mass for May L. Fletcher, a resident of Fairfax who for many years had taught school in the Philippines, will be held at 11:15 a.m. tomorrow at St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church in San Mateo.
Mrs. Fletcher died in a local hospital Friday. She was 86.
She was a native of South Dakota and spent 30 years in Manila with her husband teaching American children there.
During World War II she was placed in the Santa Tomas internment camp when the Japanese occupied the area.
She had spent the last several years living with her son in Marin.
Mrs. Fletcher is survived by three sons, Lindsay of Hillsborough, Thomas of Berkeley, and Daniel of Fairfax, 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Recitation of the Rosary 7:30 p.m. today at the Sneider & Sullivan Funeral Home in San Mateo.

A Death Notice in the same paper mentions that she was a native of Montrose, S.D.
