IRENE KANE

Funeral for Mrs. Irene Kane, 38, of 290 Lovell Avenue, Mill Valley, will be conducted at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Ellis-Olson Mortuary in Albany.

Mrs. Kane died at a local hospital Saturday after a long illness. She was the wife of John L. Kane, co-owner of the Dandy Market in San Rafael Meadows.

A native of Berkeley, Mrs. Kane had lived in Mill Valley for 16 years. She was a member of the Mill Valley Tennis Club, the Patent-Teacher Assn., and Finnish Kaliva Brothers and Sisters Lodge 21 of Berkeley.

Surviving are her husband, John, and a son, Brian J. Kane, of Mill Valley, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Maki of Berkeley.

Services will be conducted by Rev. Walter W. Werronen of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berkeley, and UFKB&S Lodge 21 of Berkeley. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery, Berkeley.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the aunt of Emma Roemstrom of Berkeley and Mimi Nelson of Oakland.
