MAX KLOPOTEK

Max Klopotek, 67, retired carpenter of 1450 Cambridge Street, Novato, died yesterday in a Novato hospital after a long illness.

He was born Oct. 27, 1896 in Arcadia, Wis. He lived there until coming to Novato two years ago, following his retirement, to make his home with his son, Marcel Klopotek.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie of Alma, Wis.; two daughters, Mrs. William Stegeman of Sullivan, Mo., and Mrs. Ellen Beseler of Arcadia, Wis.; three sons, Marcel of Novato, Eugene of Arcadia, Wis., and Emil of Alma, Wis., and 10 grandchildren.

The body was sent to Arcadia, Wis., by Redwood Chapel Funeral Home for funeral and burial.
