PAUL FRITSCH

Military funeral will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Hamilton Air Force Base Protestant Chapel for Paul Fritsch, retired Air Force major. Burial will follow at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.

Fritsch, 64, of 2435 Fifth Avenue, San Rafael, died Sunday at a San Francisco hospital following a long illness.

A native of Germany, Fritsch came to the United States and joined the Air Force in 1927. He served in World War II before retiring from the Air Force and moving to Marin County in 1951.

He worked as a security guard at San Quentin Prison from 1951 until his retirement in 1964. He was a member of the California State Employees Association.

Surviving are his wife, Hedwig F. Fritsch of San Rafael, and two sisters in Germany.
