Final Rites Slated For Albert Re
Funeral services will be held in San Anselmo Thursday for Albert C. Re, 66, who operated one of the first shoes in San Anselmo.
A resident of San Anselmo for 45 years, he was in the shoe business for about 42 years and ran Albert Re Shoe Repair on San Anselmo Avenue.
He died in a local hospital yesterday after a long illness. He was a native of Italy. He and his wife, Amalie, resided at 9 Woodland Avenue. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Albert S. Re, who is associated with Ca_?__ Menís Shop Inc. in San Rafael. Three grandchildren survive.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday from the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo, thence to St. Anselmís Church for Mass of Requiem. Recitation of the Rosary is set for 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Chapel of the Hills.
A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the grandfather of Richard, Sandra and William Re, and father-in-law of Mrs. Jean Re. Entombment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael.
