TED GARRETT

Ted Garrett, 57, of 73 Orchard Way, Novato, died today in a local hospital of an apparent heart attack.

He was born July 20, 1907 in Redwood City. He served in the Navy for 31 years, retiring as a warrant officer. He has been a medical technician at the San Quentin Prison Hospital for the past three and a half years.

He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Assn.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia V. Garrett and two sons, Michael and Dennis of the home; a stepson, S/Sgt. John E. Tatum of the Air Force stationed in Alabama; three sisters, Mrs. Mae McKillop of Diamond Springs, El Dorado County, Mrs. Sue Pace of El Dorado Springs, Mo., and Mrs. Bobbie Spencer of Los Gatos and two brothers, Francis Garrett of Carmichael and Charles A. Garrett of Alameda.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Monday at the Chapel of Marin in Novato. Interment is pending.
