Hunter Is Given Up as Drowned
Sheriff Sellmer, who was called upon to assist in a search for 22 year old Stanley Gilbert of San Francisco last Friday, says the young man probably was drowned in San Pablo bay while duck hunting.
The youth’s clothes, gun and an empty boat were located but searchers found no other trace of Gilbert.
Young Gilbert, who with his father, had been living at Black Point, borrowed a 16 foot boat with outboard motor from Edw. Behmer. After a few hours out Behme sighted the drifting boat.
