Died peacefully at home on February 12, 2002. A native of San Francisco, Richard was born on December 21, 1939. He attended Washington High School and started his career with the International Longshore Workers Union, Local 10, 32 years ago. Richard lived in Mill Valley for the past 34 years.
He is survived by Shirley Duhagon, his loving wife of 35 years, his devoted children, son Jeffrey Duhagon and wife Misty Duhagon, grandson Luke Duhagon, sons Jason and Adam Duhagon, and daughter Aimee Duhagon.
His family remembers him most for his generous and caring ways. Richard loved his family, music, dancing and playing the harmonica. His friends from work and basketball will miss him very much.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 17th at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, 3 Oakdale Avenue, Mill Valley. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marin and the American Brain Tumor Association.
