Funeral services are pending for David Granley, 64, of San Rafael, who died Thursday at a local hospital.
Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial service is being planned for David Granley, a San Rafael resident since 1966, who died at a local hospital on Thursday after a long illness.
He was 64.
A native of Mason City, Iowa, he was raised in Grand Forks, N.D.
He graduated with a bachelorís degree in engineering from the University of North Dakota and later served in the Army during World War II.
He had been an executive with General Foods in New York for many years and had been a partner of the D. D. Davis firm in Youngstown, Ohio, where he was in charge of an international business selling prefabricated freezers to underprivileged countires.
Granley had traveled around the world many times for his work. He had also lived in Montana and Minnesota. He was retired when he came to San Rafael in 1966.
He was a member of the Unitarian Fellowship in Terra Linda.
He is survived by his wife, Irma Granley of San Anselmo; a daughter, Victoria Ginger of San Anselmo; and a son, Keith Granley of Fairfax.
Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley is handling arrangements.
