R. J. MURPHY
Requiem Mass for Richard Joseph Murphy III, 43, of 181 Mark Twain Avenue, Santa Venetia, will be said at 9 a.m. tomorrow at Blessed Sacrament church, Santa Venetia.
Murphy, a representative of Goerlich Inc., exhaust parts manufacturers, died Saturday at his home of a heart attack.
A native of San Francisco, he had lived alternately in San Francisco or Marin County all his life. For the past 10 years, he was a resident of Marin County.
Murphy was a member of Rod and Gun Club and Automotive Boosters B-10, and a graduate of Tamalpais High School.
Surviving are his wife, Joan; a daughter, Paula Jeanne; a son, Richard Joseph Murphy IV, all of Santa Venetia; his mother, Mrs. Ethel Murphy of Novato, and a sister, Mrs. Elwyn Brown of Marysville.
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
