Frank Joseph Merino
Passed from this life on Saturday, October 5, 2002. Frank was a loving husband, father, and friend. He was a Marin business owner and an active member of the Marin community. Mr. Merino was born in New York City on March 12, 1960 to his parents Francisco Felix Merino and Dr. Rosa Raquel Ellis Merino. He graduated from Fordham University of New York with a degree in Biology. Mr. Merino owned and operated Commercial Facility Services of San Rafael. Frank Merino was a board member of the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce where he received the Chamber's distinguished Community Service Award in April 2002. He was also a volunteer at St. Vincent's School for Boys. Mr. Merino was a loving husband as well as a dedicated and active father to his children. He was a dear friend to many, and worked hard at enjoying life and wanted to bring enjoyment and happiness to others. His wife Marina, daughter Jessica, eight years old, his son Daniel, ten years old, and his stepdaughter Lisa 21 survive him. He is also survived by his mother Rosa Raquel Ellis Merino of LaJolla California, his sisters Rosa Merino of Chapel Hill, NC, Margaret Merino of Los Angeles, Frances Duttera of Los Angeles, and Lily Paulsen of Toronto; his aunts Nydia Leaf of New York City, Ellen Leaf of Los Angeles, Jono and Alexandria Leaf of Los Angeles. Visitation is Wednesday from 9am-8pm and Thursday from 10am-12noon at Keaton's Redwood Chapel, 1801 Novato Blvd. Memorial Services will be held Thursday at 1pm at St. Vincent's Chapel, at St. Vincent's School for Boys in San Rafael. In lieu of flowers the Merino family asked that donations be made to the St. Vincent's School for Boys, One St. Vincent Way, San Rafael, California. Please pray for the Merino family. He loved; He was loved and is now in the Presence of Divine Love.
