Evelyn Luchi of San Francisco, a former summer resident of Fairfax and mother of Teresa Gombia [sic] of San Rafael and Laura Galassi of Fairfax, died yesterday in a San Francisco hospital following a short illness.
Born in Italy, Mrs. Luchi lived in California about 50 years. She was the widow of Frank Luchi. Mrs. Luchi lived in Fairfax in the summer for 15 years until 1952.
Besides Mrs. Gambia and Mrs. Galassi, surviving are also another daughter, Helen Ratto of San Francisco; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Requiem Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Brigidís Catholic Church, San Francisco. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
A Death Notice in the same paper adds that Rosary Services were held at 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at Martin and Brown Mortuary, 1901 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco.
