Stinson Beach Pioneer, Dead
Charles Robinson, for years one of the best known deputy sheriffs in this county and who had made his home at Stinson Beach for years, died recently at the University hospital, San Francisco. He was born in Lincolnshire, England, and came to California in 1872. For a number of years he was superintendent of Miller & Lux ranches. He gave up the position and located in Marin county.
The deceased was the husband of Betsy Robinson, and father of Mrs. Anna Upton, wife of Judge Upton of Stinson Beach.
For years he was affiliated with the masons and also a member of Sons of St. George. The deceased had friends in the bay city region.
