Geraldine "Jerry" Giusti
Born September 30, 1925 to Hannah and Carl Krause in Berkeley, California, entered rest September 2, 2002 at Marin General Hospital in Greenbrae, CA. Jerry moved from Berkeley at the age of four with her family to Kentfield, CA where she attended St. Anselm Grammar School and graduated from Tamalpais High School. Jerry was an avid book reader, loved animals, was a gourmet cook with special training in French cuisine for which she never obtained a taste. Jerry has also been a dialysis patient for 12 years. When Jerry was among her family, she shined. Her daughters Gale Townsend, Dennise Grimmer, Gina Giusti, Anna Giusti, sons Daniel Giusti and David Giusti, grandchildren Robert, Danielle, Jillian, Amanda, Mary, Sarah, Rebeka and Anthony, as well as eight great-grandchildren survive Jerry. She will also be greatly missed by her siblings Paul Krause, Dolores Barrett, Audrey Kane and Gloria Brumbley. Her brother Joe Krause preceded her in death. Friends are invited to attend Funeral Services beginning with a Rosary on Thursday, September 5, 2002 at 7:00 PM in the Chapel at Mount Tamalpais Mortuary & Cemetery, 2500 5th Avenue, San Rafael, CA. Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Friday, September 6, 2002 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1104 Fifth Avenue, San Rafael in the Mission Chapel with Burial following at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, 2500 5th Avenue. Donations may be made in Jerry's memory to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 1-(510) 637-1241. Funeral assistance provided by Mount Tamalpais Mortuary & Cemetery, 2500 5th Avenue, San Rafael, CA 415-459-2500.
