MRS. A. J. BUCKLEY BURIED THURSDAY
Many Friends of Sausalito Woman Attend Funeral Services in San Rafael
Mrs. Aretus Marie Buckley, wife of A. J. Buckley, passed away Tuesday evening in t he Cottage hospital in San Rafael. For the past two years, Mrs. Buckley had been suffering from an advanced case of dropsy and death was not wholly unexpected.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from an undertaking parlor in San Rafael. Beside the immediate relatives, a large number of friends from Sausalito attended. The floral offerings were profuse and beautiful. Interment was in Mount Tamalpais cemetery.
Aretus Marie Buckley was born in Minnesota 58 years ago and came to Sausalito in 1911. During her stay here she has built a large circle of friends who sincerely regret her demise. She is survived by her husband, A. J. Buckley; three sons, Jesse H., Ralph E. and Donald E. Buckley; and four daughters, Mrs. A. G. Malone, Mrs. Hazel Christensen, Mrs. John Detiels and Mrs. Milton Olson, all of whom were present except Ralph, who was not located in time to attend.
The News joins with the entire town in extending condolences to the bereaved relatives.
