THEO J. BAAS
A Mass of Christian Burial for Theo (Ted) J. Baas will be celebrated at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Mission Chapel of St. Raphaelís Church, San Rafael.
Baas died Sunday in a local hospital following a brief illness. He was 64.
He was born in New Orleans, La., and moved to Marin County about 30 years ago, living at various times in Sausalito, Santa Venetia and San Anselmo. He was a retired bookbinder and formerly served in the Navy.
He is survived by two daughters, Carole Moore of San Rafael and Lynne Roach of San Jose; a son, Ted J. Baas Jr. of Petaluma; a brother, Laurence Baas of New Orleans; a sister, Lura Walters of Arabi, La., and eight grandchildren.
The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today in Keatonís Mortuary, San Rafael. Burial will be private.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Marin County Heart Association.
